Frutas Los Cursos increases the volume in the EU

The trader company of Granada specialized on subtropical fruits: Frutas Los Cursos, S.L. ended the last campaign 2006/07 with a volume of 10.000 tons, among mango –800 tons; avocado –6.000 tons- and custard apple –3.000 tons-, these figures become this company into a reference of the subtropical fruits sector in Granada.

The strategy of market of this company is well defined with the brand Frutas Los Cursos with a big range of destinations centred in the countries of the European Union like France, United Kingdom, Holland, Germany and less in the Spanish market.

This bigger bet on the international market means a logistic investment of 300,000 and packaging machines “to give a better service and adapt to the necessities of the customer”, says Antonio Rodríguez, Manager of Frutas Los Cursos.

After a year linked to the quality of the O.D. Chirimoya Costa-Tropical de Granada y Málaga, Los Cursos considers keeping on increasing their place in the European market. The high prices of their quotation and better knowledge of the consumer are their weighty arguments.
