Ejidormar ended the campaign 2006-07 with a supply of melon close to the 6,000 tons. For this campaign Jose Antonio Baños, president of Ejidomar, anticipates to maintain the productive figures of the previous year. Of the total of the production of this company, the Galia melon is the one that more volume contributes with 4,200 tons. Galia range is the key. This increase is a 2 per cent in damage of the Charentaix variety that loses representation.
The company has a yellow melon production for the closing of the campaign that oscillates between the 900,000 and the million tons.
About watermelon. Ejidomar has a supply of 2,000 tons of black watermelon; 1,000 tons of white watermelon and 1,500 of Fashion watermelon.
